GSM's Austin Saint Signs in the ECHL to a Max Deal

Liam Hadcock

Austin Saint resigns for max deal with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits of the ECHL

With the Greenville Swamp Rabbits (ECHL Affiliate of the NHL's LA Kings) season coming to an end in a loss to the Orlando Solar Bears, they were then set on their quest to prepare for the following season. In this preparation, the Swamp Rabbits are entitled to offer contracts to up to 20 players from the completed season. Austin Saint was selected as one of 10 forwards offered a contract to return to the Swamp Rabbits.

Austin Saint was offered a max rookie contract to return to the Swamp Rabbits, to which he accepted and is where he will remain for the 2024-2025 season. Austin burst onto the scene partway through the season after signing late in the campaign, gaining notoriety amongst the fans for his play and personality. The organization even began auctioning off his jersey to fans, especially after scoring a memorable goal while not wearing a helmet in his limited games with the club.

We look forward to Austin's progression with the Swamp Rabbits and are proud that his play is being recognized at the highest levels of the game.
